I am just asking how come the western empire fell to barbarians and why? Had it been for political problems, economic struggles, or did they just give up. "He who rebukes a man will in the end gain more favour - than he who has a flattering tongue." - Proverbs 28:23 The word conveyed is fairly straight forward - however, I was wondering if any of you lot can refer to real life situations, either personal or historical ones, where a person has rebuked a man instead of spewing words of, as they refer to it, 'flattery', ended up gaining more favour? ...
